These funky living spaces are like a second home for locals and expats, with amenities like a rooftop terrace and a coffee shop. I had a blast playing table tennis and darts, and the free Wi-Fi was a bonus. The shared lounge and terrace made socializing easy.
Who needs privacy anyway? The lack of curtains in the dorms meant I got to enjoy uninterrupted views of my roommates' private moments.

Loved the trendy and artsy decorations in the room. The staff always available to assist with any questions or concerns. Great location, close to plenty of delicious restaurants and convenient to public transportation.
The lack of soundproofing in the room was a major issue. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep and feel safe.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is close to public transport, with a subway station just a short walk away. This makes it easy to explore all the tourist spots in the city. there is a cafe downstairs where guests can enjoy their meals or grab a quick bite to eat.
The lounge area in the hotel is not ideal for socializing and getting to know other single travelers, as it is located in the basement and there is limited space.

I absolutely loved the unique and eclectic decoration at Wontonmeen. The hotel's artistic aesthetic and cozy atmosphere made me feel like I had traveled back in time to Hong Kong's good old days. The general areas were filled with local culture and charm, and I especially enjoyed listening to the old-school vinyl records in my private room. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with elevators available and comfortable common areas. It made my stay enjoyable and convenient.
If I had to suggest one thing for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the children working there to ensure that the hostel is kept clean enough. Although the decoration was interesting and added to the character of the place, cleanliness is important for a comfortable and pleasant stay, especially for senior guests like myself.
